Hope you both get feeling better really soon. Pneumonia can be a beast, draining you of all energy.

Thanks all. We're getting better everyday. Soon we can put this nastiness behind us, and maybe find an 'engine cover'. :-) That would be good...

Well... I found this and had to have it. I liked the green Jag logo... Thanks for all the help guys! Then, since I had the $$ my wife gave me for my Christmas prez... I splurged on the K&N filter set with cold air intake. Now I broke. But hey! Merry Christmas to ME! :-)

Hi Dave congrats on finding the missing part (or substitute).. Do you have the K & N or OEM CAI?

If original a little trimming might be required. Send Pictures.

Bill, I ordered the K&N set up too. I don't know if it will make a bit of difference... but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Dave it will make a slight difference in performance and the jag top should fit better!

I thought that is what I read in your description of the one you and your friends fit. I like the green growler on the engine cover, so I will leave it like that I think. Now I must wait for the goodies to arrive...

Wouldn't this badge cover the 'growler' head on the Jag cover, if that is what you were after? Seems the right size by eyeball. I do not know the actual dimensions, but someone does I'm sure. Just a thought.

Well, here is the final look. I really liked the green Jaguar head in this cover, so it will stay. I want to thank everyone for the superb advice, and pictures... It was great help in figuring what will work, and what will not. I will be trying to figure out the mounting bolts to attach it to the engine, but not right away. I did have to trim the cover a little around the wiring plug that goes into the throttle body, but only a little. I used a set of tin snips and a half round rasp to give it a finished look. When I figure out the mounting bolt set up I may put pictures up of that if anyone is interested. Special thanks to Bill, and his friends that sent the pictures. That was awesome!

Looks good, Dave. Keep us posted on how you navigate the mounting bolts.

Dave as soon as my hood struts arrive, I'll be going up to Stewarts to work on the jag cover..lots of cutting as my car has the stock intake. I like the badge too

( I think your drivers side shock tower cap is about 90* out, the natch is not in the right spot)
