I was going over my new to me 02 and found the trunk light doesn’t come on when you open the trunk. Also the passenger map light on the rear view mirror. Is this an easy fix I hope. I have no manual. Could this be a fuse issue? Thanks.

I'm with Ron, check the bulbs. The trunk light is useless if your trunk is packed! Wonderful design.

My switch for the trunk light will occasionally stick. Could be the switch for the trunk and bulb for the map light.Comment

I cannot find the switch in the trunk. Where is it? Owners manual is not very good. The map light was a loose bulb. Thanks.Comment

The switch is along the rear edge next to the latch. It. Is the soft rubber bulb like piece, often it gets mis-alined & gets caught under the trim.Mike

Got it! I would have never known that was there. It’s designed to come on when you open the truck. It was pushed out of alignment. Thanks for your help. Now everything is working. It’s a sweet car.Comment

No, this is my first one. Was thinking about getting a two seat convertible but wasn’t seriously looking but this one popped up on Marketplace. Soon as We saw it we were hooked. Had it three weeks now. I always have second doubts so hoping I chose wisely.Comment
