  • What a Fantastic Ride It Has Been!

Well, the time has come to move on. I'm going back to my real roots, getting into muscle cars once again. Its hard to believe its been 17 years, the time went by so quickly. The Bird has been shipped to its new home leaving behind a mountain of great memories.

Having this site and all of its great people made the journey that much more rewarding. I'm sure I'll still see our NE group from time to time, for everyone else I wish the best to all of you.

Take care and keep those Birds flying!
    Dino

Dino, it's been great knowing you since the very beginning and even better visiting with you in person over the years. The writing was on the wall when you started selling off your collectibles a few months ago. I feel fortunate to have some of your diecast handiwork in my collection.

There's no reason you can't continue hanging around here. You'll be sorely missed if you don't. Tell us about your new toy - even if it's a GM or Mopar, ha.

Dino, Like Paul said. you've been around almost from the beginning. I understand you feel it's time to move on. You'll be missed my friend. There are a few of us from the beginning that will keep the ride going. Happy motoring.

Did anyone here on the site buy the car?

Thanks everyone. This group has been a special part of my life for 17 years and I am very thankful for that. I will visit from time to time to check in.

As far as my "new" baby goes...I was fortunate enough to be able to find a great example of a car I've craved since the first time I saw one in 1975. She's a 1969 Hurst Olds, she'll be 50 years old on 4/18 (same birthday as my wife...it was fate!) All original, non-restored survivor with 70k original miles.

Here are a couple of pics...
