I guess to each there own...but I feel no need to have a concours car. After 14-16 years, I'm sure there's wear to the stickers under the hood on both my Thunderbirds. Honestly, I could care less. Even as much as I've done to keep them as clean as possible, you'll still find minor wear, paint chips from rocks in the road, etc.

I like to enjoy them and can't worry about whether they are in showroom condition.

I would guess most people think these are original... not OEM STYLE.... that's a pretty good return for the approximate $1 cost to make these...

I really wish people here would refrain from patronizing Thunderbird Specialties. Phil's all talk and no action. What new parts has his company produced lately? Unfortunately, his business is selling leftover Thunderbird parts at outrageous prices. He in no ways advances the ownership experience of these cars. He's a joke.

Thanks for re-posting this. Now I have it in my Tbird Picture folder.

I believe you have made a huge mistake and seemingly speak with little knowledge about Thunderbird Specialties and Phil. Whether you like him or do not like him, whether you like his products or not. Whether you like his prices or not the fact remains NO ONE has developed and introduced more products & accessories than Phil & his company for the 2002-05 Thunderbird. Here is a short list to just name a few. There is more but this list should prove my point.

First and ONLY hard tonneau cover EVER approved by Ford (Mark Fields, Ford executive-2005)
First Fender Skirts for the Retro
First Ground Effects package for the Retro
First bolt-on body kit for the Retro
                    Stainless Steel Grille trim
                    New Hood Scoop Bezel Trim
Brought back the discontinued Chrome-Plated Tail Light Bezels, paying $ 20,000 for new tooling)
                    First true Billet Grille
                    Custom Aluminum Grille
Only available Wire Wheels for the Retro (others came and went and are no longer available)
Custom Thunderbird logo courtesy entry 'shadow' lights
Full line of Thunderbird '60th Anniversary' clothing including caps, jackets and T-shirts
Author of two books about the 2002-2005 Thunderbird
Reproduced factory-correct seat cover replacements and seat foam for the 2002 Thunderbird
Re-manufactured OEM Coil Springs previously 'obsolete' and discontinued by Ford
2003-2005 Factory Matched Dash Trim Kits, including the 50th Anniversary Cashmere Feature Car
                    Chrome Billet Coolant Tank Cap
Chrome Billet Power Steering Fluid Cap
Remanufactured the original Continental Kit after buying rights and tooling from JML Motorsport
And as if all that was not enough,
He has teamed up with Ford Motor Company to get the critical FEMs and REMs remanufactured after they were 'obsoleted' and discontinued by Ford, saving hundreds of Retro owners whose cars were UNDRIVABLE!

                        ~~

Is it true that he blew Arron and Thunderbird Concepts into Ford Motor for selling floor mats with unlicensed Thunderbird logos and was successful in closing Arron down?

Don't be putting words in my post that are not there or intended.
I was not & am not selling anything for Thunderbird Specialties. That is not the point of my post. Greg ( Bugs & Birds) made some comments that were wrong & I felt that those comments needed to be corrected.

As for what ever happened to T- Concepts & Aaron I have no idea. Maybe some of you who are his long time supporters should ask him & let us all know the ' why' of his untimely departure.

Again I am not selling anything
But when something is said that is wrong & in this situation very wrong it needs to be corrected.
That is all that I'm saying.
