Bob: this ' consecutive unit number ' missing from your glove box was mentioned recently by another member for the 2005 Cashmere . If you contact Harry ( Quickdraw ) with your VIN , he may be able to give you an approximate number but they were all over the place whit the consecutive unit number . Do not think anyone is repro ing them .
Welcome to TBN by the way and enjoy your new ride . Perhaps we will meet at some show over the summer .

Are there holes in the glove box where the plate should have been? Several years ago I looked at a Cashmere with the missing plate and there was no evidence there had ever been a plate. Missed at the factory?Originally posted by Bob Marshall View PostJust bought nice Cashmere which is without its build plate (x/1500) in the glove box Anyone reproducing them and how can Tell what my number is?? Missed at factory or the original door was replaced for some reason. My only suggestion would be to attempt finding one through a salvage yard. Most places these days have the ability to search nationwide via computer. It would be a long shot but worth a try. Any number should suffice as you will never know that original random number.

Only in this last year have we been getting reports of missing glove box plates but the vins are also unique because of their "body code" in the vin #. and I repeat what has been said in other threads on this subject - no repros have been made.Limited Edition databases for 007 msg..#26 , PCR sticky, and Cashmere msg.#64

You have me confused, but then that's easy to do... Do you have the car in your possession and have you looked inside the glovebox? - I was going to ask you could WHAT be a coincidence but I think you must mean 119 built on 1/19... ? There were 24 Cashmeres made on 1/19/2005 so it is pure coincidence that yours matches as the other 23 built that day do NOT match their build date. Sounds like this is a good omen for your Cashmere. Good luck with it!Originally posted by Bob Marshall View PostVin Y104737
Dealer I bought the Cashmere from Said my plaque was under a sticker and in fact the number is 119 of 1500 Interestingly my build date was 1/19/2005 Canthis be by design or coincidence??Quickdraw

Well if the dealer is correct, your plaque could very well be "buried" inside the car. Under the carpet, seat etc.. Good luck I hope you find it...Originally posted by Bob Marshall View PostVin Y104737
