The aluminum insert on my 2003 driver side is scratched and dented mostly likely from the previous owner letting the seat belt hit it. I know that this is a separate part that is impossible to get so does anyone know if the finish is the same for all years? I have been searching eBay for door panels and wanted to know what years were the same. Thanks!

Long time member here, but long time away...I recall years back...some members buying up OEM parts for future needs, and trim was high priority...Ford stock on these items quickly ran out...I need the same metal interior trim parts...I also recall a member operating an aftermarket outfit stocked with many of those parts. Does anyone know if that outfit is still operating?

I know this is not the OEM finish but you may want to investigate Carbon fibre wrap. It comes in a whole range of colours, textures and finish.
The painted entry handle on my motorhome was getting pretty shaby to I bought a roll of this stuf and applied it. Has a really cool look.

OR, find a place that does vehicle wraps. They have all kinds of options when it comes to colors & designs. They can order wraps and I'm sure they have access to the different chrome looks to either come close to or replace the nicked up door panel trim.

Prepare for sticker shock from our old friend Phil:Originally posted by strangelizard View PostI really can't recall who the member was, nor the outfit and it's web address. I am hoping someone can let us know, as I could use the parts. Sorry.
