  • Thunderbird Sightings

We just returned from a 4,500 mile drive to the west of Minnesota.
On the return trip, we crossed paths with a red retro in Yellowstone National Park last week.
    Anyone from this group?

Just a note, picking up on your site name: sliderule01.
Just bought a 1960 Trigonometry slide rule on ebay, included in original box, original instruction manual, original leather carrying case and original owner's certificate (never completed), plus a plastic cover (quite a find and only cost me $26).
Bought it for our 12-year-old g/son...he's a math/engineering geek...loves all things math. Told him I bought it this year cuz this little slide rule was similar to what engineers used back in the 60's to land our first man on the moon 50 years ago.

I still have a slide rule that my older brother gave me as I was headed to college. He won it from a shipmate in a poker game in the Navy. Just an interesting curiosity in today’s world.

Must have been something in the atmosphere in Virginia - not one, but two. First one on the 395 bridge and the second one in Bailey's Crossroads. Neither with top down.
