The many of us that have met Nancy can attest to the fact that she is a very small woman. While the retrobirds are more comfortable for smaller people in a lot of respects, I highly doubt Nancy's stature had anything to do with it. She was the chief engineer not the chief designer. Doug Gaffka was the chief designer and as I remember he was somewhere around 6 foot or so. I think the size all came down to making things work with the LS platform.

Most taller drivers actually benefit from the seat being a little forward of all the way back, with the seat back lowered a little.

I have already tried all possible combinations if getting in and out of the car.
The tilt function simply needs to tilt up another 2 inches in order for me to get out when the wheel is retracted all the way.

I have a bad left knee and need to stretch my leg straight out, so I need the seat as far back as possible.

Well Ron, I just noticed all 4 knees are about the same length from ground up.
I am 6'-2" as well, and my legs must be somewhat longer above the knee.
I will have to take a picture and show my knees under the steering wheel.
