  • Dragon Fire COPS Review

A couple of years ago when COPS failures were more prevalent, some of the forum members were recommending the Dragon Fire aftermarket performance brand COPs as a upgrade to the failing motorcraft ones. At there time, the Dragon Fire Cops were being purchased on EBAY and not always available for our birds. At the time, I chose to go with the NAPA DG-529 cops and have not had any problems but have only driven 3,000 miles since then. I am curious to hear from the members who installed the Dragon Fire cops and what their experience has been? Would they recommend them today? Thanks for any feedback as I am again considering buying a set for future use.

I have about 10000 miles on the set and no complaints, plugs were changed at the same time. So Only time will tell..

Can't replay to these aftermarket coils. I did replace all coils and plugs with the upgraded motorcraft ones at 80,000 miles. I now have almost 150,000 miles on the car and have only replaced one coil and plug during that time. I'll stick with the motorcraft coils and plugs.

Billy I don't remember them being used as an upgrade but rather a cheaper alternative. I have a set sitting in my spare tire well for about 3 years. 529s were replaced about 27,000 miles ago.

I installed a set on Dragon Fire coils four or maybe five years ago. I have not had any problems with them but have only driven about 3000 miles.
