    Right on the 45th parallel Mancelona Michigan off of M66 at the Deer Camp.
    Be good and if you can't be good be careful.

          Yes Michigan summers are very nice but a little short. The T-Bird stays in the garage from November to April here in West Branch.

            Same could be said for our winters - heat seems to last forever, but when the nice weather arrives, it's heaven. My dad was born, raised in the U.P., above Hancock/Houghton in a little village called Lake Linden - when his family moved down here (in August 1944), he thought he'd died and gone to purgatory (they were Catholic). But, when Christmas came and they ate lunch outside, he couldn't believe it.

              That's a great picture. Always loved going to Otsego State Park and Big Buck Brewery for a steak. I think I'll need to tour the finger section of the mit this fall, it's been a while.

                I would have thought the lines marking the Parallels would be more pronounced? Or is the actual 45th parallel not in the camera's view?

                      I know on I-75 the 45th Parallel is marked and I would think more highways are marked. This is on private land own by a hunting buddy and the 45th Parallel runs through his 200 acres . We use a GPS to locate the 45th.
