  • our 1st car show...

Mount Pleasant TX. 8-24-19... Small, but fun! We won the first prize. Which is to say, we got ours before anyone else. We won the 'best T-bird in show'! (there were no other T-birds there). :-/ But we met some really nice folks, and there was live music and beer, so a good time was had by us.

:) Congrats! a win is a win no matter how many in the competition. The point is that you showed up! and gave others a chance to see your car up close.

Our first show with the 02, we didn't win anything but we did give people a chance to sit in it because dealerships back in 2002 would only let serious buyers into any Thunderbirds on their show room floors.

You won well before the show by having the personal pride to compete; that your car ended up being the only TBird doesn't change that. Congratulations!

I still remember my first car show. It was in the early 80's. Showed my 64 Galaxie. Still showing it almost 40 years later.
