    September 7th - An Important Day In Thunderbird History

    65 years ago today, September 7, 1954, production began on the iconic Ford Thunderbird. It is a day to remember and celebrate!!

        I always thought that a date that was specifically related to the history of the TBird would be a better choice i.e. today. Or the official announcement day - October 22. Or the "official"day that the last one was built - July 1 (2005). I think the May day was selected as it was near the kick-off of the car show/cruise night season.

              I think the Thunderbird is definitely in Ford's rear view mirror and it's fading fast.
