Chrome hood scoop bezel?

Has anybody successfully chromed the plastic bezel yet? I can't believe we don't have a solution for the shortage of these things!

OK, so, back to the original question, I wonder if the plastic ones can be chromed I was told "they" can chrome plastic nowadays...

otherwise, is this just something that aint gonna happen for my bird?

I talked to one in Jersey when my windshield chrome started peeling some years ago. Was cheaper to buy new parts. I do however still have the original parts just in case. Pretty sure they are still in business. Don’t remember the name, sorry.

Don't matter where you take the part to be chromed/re-chromed it going to cost a pretty penny. You may want to try a "Chrome Vinyl Wrap" first. I'v seen it done on the "Youtube" thing, ( only took about 10-15 minutes ) don't look hard to do, you'll need a heat gun.
