Here's a couple of related items that Harry (Quickdraw) made and donated for attendees of an event over a decade ago. The booklet spells out everything there is to know about your retrobird based on your VIN. The framed document is a summary of the data. It's just another example of a TBN member going above and beyond to make events special for the

2. What car museum did we visit as part of the event?

3. Who else still has these items?

Guess that didn't jog any memories, so on to this week.

Back in the day we had several events held in Hot Springs, AR. Each time the group went to Oaklawn Park to watch the horse races. One year we sponsored a race - The Thunderbirdnest.com Classic, won by This Is Doc. The picture collage below was taken to commemorate the winner. They would not let us all go down on the track, but several of our members took part in the presentation. Some of the participants are wearing a special event T-shirt made by one of our members.

Both Cal David said they can't tell the others, because the picture is too blurry. Pictures of a picture leave a lot to be desired. I've tried to take better picture and cropped it to include only the TBN members. I can only identify 2 of the 4 that have not been named. We had some 1st and only time attendees at that event, so 15 years later their names have left me. One of the two I can identify has been to many events and the other is deceased.
