Hey T Birders, I visited RockAuto and picked up a set of plugs and coils and spent the day replacing them.. I found this TBird had 3 different brands of coils, I replaced one last year and it looks like 5 original, 2 of another brand and the one I replace last year. I noticed with removing plug 2 and 8 their was oils in the inset cylinder but the plugs were not fowled. Question, are these coils oil packed? I cannot figure where oil is coming from and I use 5-20 synthic blend and it doesn't appear to be motor oil. The good new is the miss is gone now I must figure how to get the covers back on. Is their a trick to getting the passenger lower rear bolt in or out, and on the dirivers side the lower front and rear bolt in or out.

Has anyone replaced these 7MM with a torque heads to hold the covers in place..

Anyway, now that my TBBBird is running nice it time to remove the hard top.

    thanks for all the tips

Hey T Birders, if your on the North/east coast im looking for a set of the 16ot 17 spoke wheels. I don't like the chrome which I have or the polished. I believe these were stock on the 04 and 15 models

If you found oil in any of the plug wells, it can only come from leaky o-rings or v/c gasket........
this type coils aren't oil packed.
