I love these cars so much. I startwd with an 03 Torch Red. It was such a great car that I decided I needed one in Merlot . On. Y way to finding a nice Merlot, I picked up this black one, because it was such a nice car and such a miraculous story about it and the seller.
I found the Merlot and put the red one up for sale. It sold in like two days and the buyer still takes it to shows and calls me three or fojr times a year to thank me for selling him the car.
Well, someone who came to look at the red one, insisted on buying the Merlot when he found the red one had sold.
I found another Merlot later and flew to Philly and drove it back to Washington. A few months later one of the guys I play racquetball wirh, insistwd he had to have that car.

So the black one is now Hok Kandy Brandywine over a Galaxy Grey basecoat with some Emberglo Radiantz sprinkled into the last "midcoat" and first coat of clear (you wont be able to see it in the pictures. It's very subtle, just "catches " your eye as you walk by).

I was afraid if I got another Merlot, someone would insist on buying it.
Hopefully Ill figure out how to post pictures. And as everyone has noted since the first picture of a car was ever posted, "the pictures dont do it justice.

Great job; Most people don't know what is involved in a good paint job and even more in a color change

I like that you painted the fender spears the same
color as the body. Nice touch.

Thanks to all. I'm about to move my bed into the garage. I go down int the morning to do some detail stuff and return in the evening, having done nothing but stare.
I've lived in my current house about 7 years and the last two days, neighbors I've only waved to in passing are coming by to introduce themselves.

It's a more Joyful experience when shared with others.

I think the affection we have for these cars has a uniqueness to it that matches the uniqueness of the car itself.

                  All the best,

                  John
