I have had an ESP on my 2004 since I purchased it new in 2004. My ESP was to expire on 3/27/2020. Around the middle of March, I decided to take a drive since the weather was finally getting nice. While on the trip, I started checking all the controls and found the AC was not working. I scheduled an appointment right away since my ESP was running out soon. They found the AC compressor was leaking and ordered a new one. Of course then the pandemic hit and every thing stopped. I called the service department and talked to the service department to see what was going to happen since my ESP would run out before the car could be fixed. They informed me that since the work order had been issued before 3/27/20, the repair was still covered and when they opened up again they would get the repair completed. Last week the repair was finished and I drove home with AC for only $50. Over the sixteen years I have an ESP, it has been well worth the cost.

Great warranty story. You likely wont hear those on aftermarket warranties!!
