  • To coincide with the chronology of events

To coincide with the chronology of events, thought it would be fun to put a picture of the Programs or Event Schedule from all of the events to bring back memories.

I'll start with our Program Desert Thunder II.

Not a big event, but my first time meeting about 12 to 14 TBNer's. It was a lunch in Maryland in 2004 held at the diner named on the shirt.

I don't have this on the Chronology of Events list. What month? Gathering name? Tell us more about it.

This was so long ago and everyone was new to me. I'm not sure who was there or date (early in year because I think I was on crutches due to a snowboard incident a few weeks earlier) or exact location of the diner (Dundalk, Md?). The diner sold polo shirts and I bought one. One thing I do recall is all the guys and girls had their hoods open and were comparing engine differences between the years and mentioning they had Borlas and/or K&N filters installed or whatever. Not to be left out, that is when I first made the now infamous statement..... 'I have a trunk mat'.

That was enough info for me to find out it occurred in late March and was called - Mid-Atlantic Goodbye to Hardtps Cruise-in and Lunch.

                Thanks, Doug.

Rusty....were you at the Mastoris Diner meet? This was in Bordentown probably in 2004 with around 30 TBNers for lunch.

Yes I was. And Mr Quickdraw himself made a surprise visit.

And we also had a lunch outing in May 2009 at Rooney's in Long Branch that I think you attended along with a few other Pennsylvania folk.

I missed the Long Branch lunch. Mastoris was organized by Marc, an attorney from Cherry Hill. Also in attendance were Jerrym3 and his brother. Harry brought some delicious roast beef. Marc surprised everyone by picking up the check.

Here's the intinerary booklet from Black Hills Expedition of 2015, last event that George & I attended. Cute booklet with old photo cover and old style font (in color though)

That was a great event. I still can't believe that Roger got Mike to pose for that cover photo.

And I couldn't believe how my quilt journey fit in with the Dr. Ziminsky story.

This was the original. Not fancy, but boy did it start the ball rolling with a real bang. Remember, at that time in Oct 2002 TBN was just hitting 500 members, several of those probably didn't have their car yet, if they ever got one, and 50 cars showed up in Destin!
