For some reason I had trouble logging in to the website using Internet Explorer which is my main browser. This went on for approx two months. I thought thunderbird nest had been taken down for whatever reason. I decided to try to log in using MIcro Edge and was able to get on again thankfully. Has anyone here had similar experience?

Yes, had the same problem with Judy's desk top. I had my lap top and her desk top changed over to Edge. I started using edge right away but she kept trying to use the old Explorer and had the same problem as you. Internet Explorer 11 still works here on TBN, but a lot of web sites have phased out support for older, less secure web browsers. Most want you to use Microsoft Edge or a recent version of Chrome or Firefox.

The MS Edge is faster than the IE II.
Chrome has additional safety features that help prevent you being sent to a mal site due to bad link.
