  • Easy salved fuelpump problem

If any one have problem with the fuelpump It might be an easy and sheep problem.
this is maby not new to you but I explain how i did just in case Any one want to know.
i did this on my 2000 Jaguar S-type but it is the exact same on my 2002 Thunderbird (i had that fuelpump out at the same time)

my car did not start, the fuelpump on right side made no sound and no fuel were reaching the motor.

itook out the fuelpump and open the lid and took out the fuelmotor

away from the car just incase of sparks i tested the motor with 12v, it did not move

ordered a new motor for 14$ E2226 is the partnumber on the motor

I did put it all back together and the car started and runs nicely

it was not dificult the hardest thing To do it on the Thunderbird ithink is to get the blue lid off that holds the pump in the tank because its not much space but in the Jaguar i just removed the backseat

here is a link that shows it all

I Started out with nothing and I still got most of it left

To the best of my knowledge only DavidA has had a sheep problem, but that is a whole 'nother story.
