  • Hemmings September article

Interesting read ... is Philip Wegener, (named as a source in the article), LA Phil?
Unbelivable TBN trips including ALL of the lower 48 States plus 9 Canadian Provinces, 8 European Countries, 3 Caribbean Countries, Countless National Parks and have attended well over 100 TBN Events since 2001 and counting. Best of all ... fabulous friends.

Yes, it's probably him. Thanks for sharing the article, David.

Yes, that’s our boy. I think they have a couple of errors. Number of Inca Gold and the years with V8 badging.

I wouldn't put any faith into anything LA Phil has to say. The other guy is questionable. We know more here on TBN then the two of them put together
They are Here. Scotty, beam me up!

Yeah, and that's not a "partial interior color accent", it's a full interior color accent.
This information isn't difficult to check, thanks to TBN and its members. Simply
sloppy writing and less fact checking.

Is it really true that there are no doors available?

The costs shown on the replacement parts list must be LA Phil's inflated prices.

I managed to put a tiny crease in my passenger door. It’s hardly noticeable except to me. Hoping that my guy can just work it out. If he doesn’t think that he can, I may just leave it alone. Always something.

Dent Doctor are the best! M
They have the right tools and knowledge, won't even take the inside door panel off. They slip their specially shaped tool down between the glass & its molding and with gentle pressure push the dent back out.
Google Dent Doctor for your area.

Haven't fully read the article to read all the points you've found that are incorrect, but I have looked to see who the author is as it was a familiar name. Jeff Koch. Turns out that Jeff is a well known diecast collector besides being a journalist for Hemmings. Not sure where the 187# came from for the Inca Gold. Will be contacting him in the future after I've finished reading the article. not tonight though.
