I wonder how many people love their cars so much they keep them 19 years. I kept my one year old 2005 until 2017 and I would still have it except for the '04 I bought, before I sold the '05. I look at other cars but I just can't imagine not having an 11th Generation Thunderbird to love and enjoy!

April 28, 2003 for me. Easy to remember as it was my birthday. I agree Cal with no plan to sell. It will eventually be passed down to our daughter. She also loves the car so I had better stay away from open windows.

              Gene:

Same for my daughter. My son has literally no interest in it. He has never driven it in 19 years. My daughter keeps inquiring periodically to verify it will be hers. My grandson, who will not be 16 and driving until at least next year, has inquired about using it for his senior prom. But other than that not much interest in cars either. He has asked if he could have my truck some day, so there is hope. I told him absolutely - either when I can no longer drive or it is in my estate. And hopefully those two events are concurrent. And not soon.

Yeah Man. They all count. You have a lovely and understanding wife, Mine is too but not when it comes to making her car stay outside while mine are in the garage.

yes, we tend to keep our cars. Have sold a few though but still have the station wagon which we've owned since we were married, 2 TCs, and our 57 from 1975.

                      I had a 1969 Ford Torino GT 2-door hardtop, with a 351 Windsor 4-bbl V8, that I kept for 19 years. Wish I had never sold it.
But, I could never keep the valve guide seals from leaking (changed them several times), and it had missing teeth on the ring gear.

We will have had our T-Bird for 19 years on January 15, 2021.

Maybe a celebration is in order when mine hits 20 years next year. Maybe a TBN event?

Fall of 2021 could be a 20th Anniversary Delivery event for several of us. We took delivery on November 9, 2001. While that was exciting for sure, we never had a clue how much fun that day would lead to.
