How do you post only a thumbnail pic?

One option -

1. Choose Upload Attachment below the dialog box.
2. Select the picture you wish to upload.
3. After the upload a small picture with the following text will appear:

Insert:Thumbnail Small Medium Large Fullsize Remove

4. Select Thumbnail and a small picture will appear in the dialog box where the cursor is located.
5. Post your reply.




Another option -

1. Click on the camera icon above the dialog box.
2. Select Upload that comes up in the box below the dialog box.
3. Select the picture you wish to upload.
4. After the upload click continue.
5. Click post reply.

To post a thumbnail. Start your post then in the upper left hand corner you will see a camera, click on that then go to the bottom left of the screen and you will see (upload) and it will ask you where to get the pic from.

Works every time. The two pictures I posted were done in the manner described above them. I specifically posted the same picture to show the difference in the way they post to the screen. I have noticed that sometimes photos are posted (even in Thumbnails) that do not show up in the Latest Activity mode, but do show up in the Posts mode. I don't know how those pictures are being posted to cause that problem.

Try it now. I removed it and reloaded it using the same steps. It works from my phone.

Interesting. It shows as a Thumbnail on my phone but has the #1 and Photo beside it.

I haven't had a problem doing it the first way over the past months. The only time it seems to be a problem is if I start a post, have to get out of it, come back and choose the Restore function - then try to post it. In that case the picture doesn't seem to post.

Are you in the Posts or Latest Activity mode? That seems to have some effect on what shows up on our screens.

Also I wonder if my pictures were affected by trying to do the same picture with different methods in the same post.
The picture below is posted with the original method, not using the camera icon. Let me know if the Thumbnail can be expanded.

Showing as a thumbnail and I am in Post mode.

I upload a photo and it shows large size in the post. I then go down to the description of the photo and it gives me a option to add the thumbnail, I select and then both the large photo and thumbnail show up in the post. I go back and remove the first photo and that leaves the thumbnail I added.

That seems like a bigger pain than either of the other two which are painful enough, but it does work for you.

I can't figure out why the first time I used the camera icon method I ended up with the larger picture and the Thumbnail which only shows up for me like that in the Posts mode. It only shows the Thumbnail in the Latest Activity mode. The last photo I posted with the camera icon only shows as a Thumbnail in both modes. Strange things happen on this site when it comes to photos and the different modes of viewing posts.

OKAY- I tried to use the camera icon and then the "upload attachments" but I ended up with 2 pics or none? went back to old way of using the upload attachments and selecting "thumbnail"???

Sorry, Vino Bird, but you did ask and the result may have helped you. I think now we can get back to your original request of cabin pictures (within our TBIRDS) . Here's another for you. full accent thunderbird blue 02 interior ...with the current health accessories, barely visible.
