It was a beautiful morning in our neck of the woods, so we broke Jewel out of her nest to take us to church. It was the first time I had driven her since my knee surgery and her recent new thermostat and brakes. Sure felt good. I truly appreciate owning her for almost 20 years and all the friends she has brought us along the way.

We put the top down and went for a drive on this sunny, 89 degree day. Ended up at beautiful St. Armand’s Circle, spent some money and we only saw one other Retro.....a Desert Sky Blue with white hardtop. We surely LOVE this 007 Edition more than any of the other 4 Retros we have owned.Comment

Took the hard top off and went for a spin around Lake Ponchatrain. Beautiful, sunny day after weeks of rain. Had 9-1/2" last week alone!Comment

I did my part... spent the afternoon tooling around in the sun, then visited a friend and toasted to the T-Bird with a wee dram.
Definitely appreciated having a Thunderbird.
