I bought an OEM thunderbird rear fender script, and it arrived in an authentic looking Ford box. The script itself is attached to a clear plastic backing. I figured it was pre-glued, but when I touched it very carefully at one small point, it didn't feel very sticky. Is it self-adhesive, or do I have to use some sort of glue? If so, which kind is it? And what is the best solvent to clean off the surface before putting down the new script. Thanks!
