... that means the hardtop goes back on until October. May hit 110 next week...today is projected to be 95-97. While the majority of you folks are taking your hardtops off, I'm putting mine on (but gotta say I like the change-up - looks sharp with hardtop on).

I understand totally, Greg. Mine is on an electric hoist so it's practically nothing to raise & lower it. I'm 72 and would no longer want to try removing or installing it with my wife - we're past the point of doing things like that.

Yes, some of us lives in environs where it's too cold to take the top off/down until warmer weather arrives, but we quickly learn to put the top(s) back
on/up to confront global warming, solar radiation influence on our shrinking brains. That time is a window of about 2 weeks early summer and then late
fall.

I am with you Jim. The hard top going on this week as well. Just too damn hot in south Louisiana, 92 expected today with 80% humidity if not raining!

Jim and Susie thank you for sharing. Very good looking vehicle. My hardtop is still on from it's winter storage on the car, even though the temperatures support ht'p removal. I believe I will finally give in and remove the ht'p to get the convertible experience.

Thanks Bob...I like the looks of the hardtop on these cars - IMO very classy look. But, for driving purposes, I prefer to drive with the soft top (car feels different to me).

I like the more formal look of the HT, I think the porthole area is pretty special looking. At 95 degrees, the top will remain on! It's a nice testament to the design of the car that it looks special with the top on, or off.

You're right Jim, today it is mid 90s in Charleston and throw in the humidity and even at only 15% it feels like 98+. I remember being in Scottsdale about 20 years ago in April, and the weekend I was there was the first 100 degree day of that year. I had to laugh when I saw little birds trying to get a drink hanging upside down on faucets. Others were sticking their tongues into sprinkler heads.

I'm with Spence, hardtop season in FL is about 5 minutes. We sold ours shortly after moving here.

It's still a very classic look, but we're more about practicality as we get older.

That's because a lot of people are uninformed. The soft top is insulated just like the hard top. Not much difference in either top. But you do what you like.
