my soft top fabric on the left hand side has shredded and now it’s leaking water. any suggestions on what type of patch I could cover this with, not wanting to spend a lot of money to fix this. I already glued the outside to the window but did not fix the inside problem. I also found water in the trunk on the left hand side so I cleaned out the sunroof drain, if that was clogged with that calls it to back up in the trunk ? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Finding a OEM replacement top might be a problem in itself? On one of my first convertibles years ago I used a denim iron-on patch on the inside to reinforce and seal a worn spot on the top. seemed to work well for the remainder of the time I owned the car. Worth a try.
You also may check with Brad to see if he has a good used top in your color.

I do have several soft tops in amazing condition. Only 650 for the complete top and frame, just bolts in.Originally posted by BillyL View PostFinding a OEM replacement top might be a problem in itself? I know a guy here in Sebring that just had a new top put on his T-Bird Blue car, just like mine. I think he spent around $2,500 for the top. Doesn't sound too out of line to me. I saw it and it looks like an original. They are Here. Scotty, beam me up!IT'S 5 O'CLOCK SOMEWHERE
