Not looking for advice the dealer will fix this. I was driving the Bird down on 27 and turned the air on. About 60 sections later the temp gage spiked. I turned the air off and the temp came back to normal. This happened twice on the short drive I was on. This isn't a good sign, something is wrong and when I get it back from the dealer I'll let you know what the problem was.
Before I pick up the T-Bird I am going to have the serpentine belt replaced and all rubber hoses replaced. It's a 20 old car and rubber gets soft and goes away. I'm not taking the chance of going on a long TBN Event and something going wrong or breaking

We don't drive the car much and it's mostly local driving. We're looking into changing our auto insurer. We've driven roughly 17k since we moved to FL 12 years ago. That's <1.5k per year. And we drove the car to Texas in 2011, and Tennessee in 2012, that's a big chunk of the mileage.
