Paul, we won’t be meeting up at Motown Museum, we do look forward to meeting up at the hotel later that day.

Okay, Ted. We'll see you then.

I just checked and it looks like Motown is sold out for all day.

            Hello T-Bird friends,

Some of you know we sold the Bird in 2015 and then retired in 2018. So we bought the attached 2014, 2SS/RS Camaro. Wanted a 1969 Z-28, but couldn't part with that much money. And Nancy insisted on A/C! LOL!

Love the car, it had only 11,400 miles when we drove it home from Kansas City.

Have fun at your reunion, we miss those TBN events!
            Chuck

Chuck, hope you and Nancy are doing well even if you did go over to the dark side with the Camaro. Ha. Whenever I hear of someone looking for a good mechanic in the DFW area, I always point them towards your son's shop in McKinney. Not sure if any have ever gone there, but as with everything else some people can't be helped.

Good to see you checking in now and then.

              Paul and Rosetta

Our TBN group has been invited to join other Thunderbird owners at Kellogg Park in Plymouth, MI for an all Thunderbird cruise in Friday evening during the reunion. The location is only about 25 minutes from the Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Museum, so we will easily be able to join in before returning to the hotel that evening.

I'm sure we'll join in. Hope everyone else will as well.

Well, this is a little bit of a sad day as I finally cancelled our hotel reservations for the Dearborn event. I had been putting it off until the last minute, but by a week or so ago I determined that it was going to likely be a no go. It is because of health issues. I had a very serious respiratory event back in May that has resulted in making travelling any significant distance a high risk of recurrence until the cause is determined. So we are going to miss the Dearborn event and are currently missing the VTCI Convention taking place now in GA. We missed the Georgia TBN event as well, that because I was recovering from pneumonia. That was fortunate, I guess, because my "event" would have occurred while we were in GA, 700 miles from home. We were very much looking forward to seeing our TBN friends again, two times in fact, but I need to act on the side of caution. I hope y'all have fun, as I know you will. Keep the photos coming on TBN. My health situation is apparently getting better (no firm diagnosis yet). Hopefully we will catch up soon again. For the mid-Atlantic folks, I am still considering a gathering in our area, likely just the typical one day event or maybe an overnighter. So stay tuned.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, Skip. I hope you have a diagnosis soon of something that can be easily fixed. I also have respiratory issues and know how debilitating they can be. I’ve been to several of the top hospitals and physicians over the last six years and have yet to find an answer. At this point I just deal with things as best as I can. This getting older is not for sissies.

                                Gene:
Thanks for your response and well wishes. You are absolutely correct. I have other issues but this is by far and away the most concerning. It is bad enough to deal with the growing older issues, but it would be nice to only need to deal with one a a time.
