  • We have been to Pops on Rt 66 in Arcadia, OK many times and always wanted to go in the evening to see the bottle lit up at night, but the timing never worked out. FInally, last month we were able to be there at the appropriate time. We were bummed after all these years of waiting, that the lights were not fully functional that night. At any rate, the picture still looks pretty good, even with the malfunctioning lights.

Let’s get some more night time shots up here. I’ll pick the winner when I get to Dearborn next week for the Thunderbird Reunion so there’s still time to post your photos.

          • Hm. First time I've had to come up with a challenge. How about some pictures of Thunderbirds in parades or processions? / Duane

Well I’ve never been in a parade so a procession will have to do for me. We were stopped for construction on the road from Spearfish to Keystone. This in from Black Hills Expedition in 2015. That sure was a great event (as are they all).

                • I've told everyone that has asked, no, because Ford does not recommend anyone sitting on the top. Plus, if you're in the parade, you can't see the parade. We have participated in less than a handful over the years, but just us in the passenger seats. The last time was the 4th of July 4 or 5 years ago with our car club, but I don't have any pictures other than the staging area.

                  • Here we are at the staging area of the Christmas Parade in Safety Harbor, Florida in 2022. This is a parade that our Florida Gulf Coast Vintage Thunderbird Club participates in every year.

Here is my Thunderbird at a very majestic hotel.
Can anyone name the hotel that I am parked in front of?
Let’s see what you can come up with.
