I'm not exactly ready to spend $40-$50k on an engine for any of my vehicles. What would be useful is a company who can take existing modern
engines for upgrades to single or double turbos, etc. If if Ford's 4 cylinder, 2.0 engines can turn out 200+ horsepower, what can be done with
      a 3.9 V8?
Not that I need more HP in the 'Bird. How fast do I need I go 3 miles for a loaf of bread?

Neither can I, it’s just a masterpiece of engineering. I believe it weighs in at 200 some pounds, when placed next to a 2 liter ford the 2 liter looks huge.
I heard a couple of them run at Gingerman amazing sound. Saved me a trip to Wisconsin just to hear one scream up tp redline.
if I had Musk money there’d be one sitting in my living room just so I can ogle at it.

Those race engines achieve the torque we are used to driving around, upwards of 7,500 rpm. I am skeptical about the practicality of using one for a T-Bird.

If we are thinking racing, then a more comprehensive upgrades might be in order
