WE have been having weeks of heat here in South Louisiana with the heat index over 105f on a daily basis. I finally gave in and installed the hard top back on the bird for the next few months until some fall coolness arrives. I prefer the look of the fiberglass tonneau covers, but the a/c works better with the top on.

Tell me about it, Billy. It has been really hot here too. We haven’t quite hit 105 but we’ve had many at 100. I am content to stay at home as my choices are pretty much limited. Just need to stick it out until September. Between the heat and the floods it’s been one lousy summer. -
Only getting hotter! The forecast for the next week here is for 115f heat indexs with 70% humidity. You are right, lousy summer weather so far and now we are facing the hurricane season stretch. Gene, did you get the porthole wing stickers installed?Comment
