  • Need bolt size for front sway bar brackets

Since mine have been lost, I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me the size/length of the bolts that hold on the front sway bar brackets. Thanks!

My understanding is that the bolts (2) for a bracket (1 of 2) that holds the bushing and secures the front sway bar are:

M10x20mm class 10.9 (10.9 designates very high strength)

I don't know if the thread pitch is 1.5 (coarse), or 1.25 (fine), but assume 1.5 is correct; if not the other is available. If you have never looked at the McMaster-Carr website, it's a paradise of mechanical parts from a highly reputable company.

I hope no one needs these parts, and that it helps if you do.

The (two) bolts for the bracket that holds the bushing and secures the front sway bar are:
Flanged M10x20mm, coarse thread pitch 1.5, 10.9 strength class. The bolts are available from Amazon, Ebay, and McMaster-Carr, and doubtless other places

The bushings I used are made by AC Delco. Make certain the parts you look for match your car.

The bushings are available from Amazon, and some auto supply stores.
