Just watched a new movie called "TAKING WOOSTOCK" and has a few thunderbird sightings. The first being a red 65 Thunderbird around 7 minutes into the movie and again just before ending. Also seen a tan colored 60's driveby around 10 minutes into the movie.

Last night's episode of CRASH (season 2 episode 11), in the beginning of the show in the hobby supply store, they show a model of the McDonald's Racing team Thunderbird #94, by the AMT company...

          John,
Perry Mason (my mom's favorite program) didn't drive a Squarebird but his investigator, Paul Drake, did.
I believe you're right...I think it was black. But then it was B/W TV.

John, that T-bird was listed on Ebay a couple of weeks ago. The owner had the bill of sell showing it was bought by Paramount and still shots of Raymond Burr and William Hopper, (paul drake) driving it. I thought I saved it but can't find it. Don't know how much it sold for. Randy, it was black.

Interesting how two people can watch the same movie and see different things. Alll I saw were the Ramblers scattered throughout the movie.

PS - Also noticed the naked people, but we're not going to talk about that.

I was wrong...it was a 1966 Thunderbird, at 7 minutes and 22 seconds in the movie...

Not on TV, but I watched a new 2010 remake of a 1976 movie online today called "The Killer Inside Me"...

I have to say this first, this movie is not for everyone, and most definitely deserves the R rating it has...

It is kind of ironic that they had Casey Affleck playing the main part with the last name as Ford in the movie, the same as when he played the part in "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford"...

Anyways, here are a couple of pictures of Baby Birds used in the movie...

Was just watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta and theynwere showing the VIP arrivals for a fashion show. The first car they show pull up was a mountain shadow grey, then some hummers, and Mercedes. Top down on the car and a great shine.

Paul Drake only drove t-birds in the Perry Mason series.

Some lucky Spring Breaker is borrowing a fancy ride. This morning on the Today show they had a spot on Spring break in Panama City, FL. They showed a line of cars and the first one was a Torch Red, top down/no front plate.

For anyone on the West coast it was on between 7:30 and 8am.

                              Just watched:

                              Food Paradise
                              Hot Dog Paradise

One place was The Varsity in Atlanta

Shows a Tbird blue rear shot in the parking lot and an interview with the driver in the car about his hot dog.

Last night (Sat., 8/4) I was watching a program I had never seen before: Shipping Wars, where professional independent truckers compete in bidding to haul items across the USA. One item, delivered to Iowa (as I recall), was a 1956 Baby 'Bird, Thunderbird Blue with blue & white interior & the porthole hardtop. It was hauled protected (enclosed) from the weather.
