On today's Velocity program South Beach Classics' intro, I noticed that there are two Early Birds - a red one and a very bright yellow '55 with a Continental kit and what looked like an extended rear end at bumper level with torpedos punching through the chrome (NOT very attractive IMHO). There was also a c.1960 T-bird in the lot which was pretty hot.
Judge Lucid - If it weren't for TV, I'd have to watch radio
Might be a little late....but Velocity Channel right now is showing Desert Car Kings restoring a 65 Thunderbird. Pretty good program. I sure the show will re-broadcast.

Sold at auction $5,650 for full restoration
We're lighter. We're faster. If that don't work, we're nastier.
We're gonna make history.
Happy New Year 2016! One of the things I love about New Year's Day (after watching the Rose Parade of course) is watching the Twilight Zone marathon. Today, two different episodes from 1962 had TBirds; a black 4 door (Dead Man's Shoes, season 3 episode 18) and a white convertible with steer horns on the front (Showdown With Rance McGrew season 3 episode 20).

Are you sure the black four door was a T bird ? Four doors were 5th Gens. 67/71
I'm glad you asked that. I went back and found the episode and by golly it's a Lincoln Continental. What was I thinking? To be fair the scene was in the dark and the car was black.
Watching a NCIS rebroadcast on USA this afternoon. Episode 18 from Season 2 aired. I am guessing this must have been the 2003 - 2004 season, give or take one. There was a scene with what must have been a car show or car club gathering. Among the Porsches, Chevy SSRs, BMWs, Benzes, etc. was an IY with the hardtop on. Nice sighting.

Watched the original spider man movie last night . Noticed the grille of a 2002 retro bird when 'Toby ' is looking for a used car to purchase with the money he will get for the wrestling match he wants to enter to raise the money .
