Oh Boy, the last time we had a color discussion the posts went on for several pages and some people still on talking to one another.
I like Borla Babes comment we all have Birds and that is about as elite as we need to get.
Except for the folks that own two or more birds, then they are elite X2 or X3 or X4, etc.

Most folks just say..."what color IS that?" (and that's before they ask what kind of car it is!)
I hear you - miy registration says RED. They didn't recognize Merlot as a color. HOW RUDE!!!

And all the while I thought the color of your car was Chanti or Bordeaux.

I'm sorry but you would have a lot more fun on this site if you would just accept the fact that you own a Thunderbird, its a car for hell sakes, no better, no worse than any of the rest of ours.
BIRDWINGS.....you can slap my hands in Ozark.
            I agree with you.

The bottom line is that these cars are nothing more than just a Ford Thunderbird, regardless of color. I think we saw a very unique one of a kind at Maggie Valley. 007, you need to get off of your my color is the best that nobody has ever heard of.

I'd take either - better that Ripple or Boone's Farm. Now that brings back memories. Oh got a better one.......Sloe Gin! And ain't it sweet!

Charlie's right. And there are a LOT of T-Bird owners out there who do not belong to TBN and are actually clueless about their own car, so it's not so strange someone hasn't heard about certain colors (that are specific to a year) or a special edition. Well, gee, looking back at my own statement, MOST T-Bird owners do not belong to TBN (their loss)!

OFF topic but, where on your registration is the color of your car. I have check my registration and do not find a color anywere. Maybe Texas does not require this???

                      Just curious sorry

You are correct about that, not in Texas.

Re: They never heard of the Thunderbird!

My bird has been my daily driver for 5-1/2 years. Nothing to be ashamed of there. I have thoroughly enjoyed nearly every mile of it. When I'm done wearing this one out, I just may have to buy someone else's garage Queen. Sometimes we need to remember to make sure our brain is engaged before putting our mouths (or fingers) in gear.

I was driving past a middle school after work today and a young teenage girl hollered out "I love your car!" I don't think it mattered to her what color it was. There is hope for today's youth.
