Oh my gosh - slow gin.... the first time I ever really got over the edge drinking adult beverages (way before I was an adult) it was on cherry slow gin. To this day, some 40 years later, if I even smell that stuff I, well, I have to get away from it.

Sorry, I just decided to read this thread. What is the issue? I think Pumpkin is a great color.

Of course we all know that the definitive image, the most famous image, the image of a Thunderbird that instantly comes to mind is the one from American Graffiti.......the mysterious blonde in the WHITE Thunderbird. Case closed.

That must be a typing error, I think she meant to say THUNDERBORLA BLUE!!!!

Re: They never heard of the 007 Thunderbird!

Certainly the Coral color is special to only the 007 T-Birds.

It's obvious that "ordered" colors are up to the individual. One could conclude, the rarer the color, the least interest.

That is, the more interest, the more cars would have been ordered in any specific color. Correct or incorrect?

As far as "special" T-Birds, it's obvious the 007 has some "features" that other T-Birds do not. Like it or not. It also appears as though there's some animosity among owners that don't have the 007. All one has to do is read replies. :o)

As you know, the 007 has the following:

                    Special color
                    Limited Edition numbers
                    Special 21" spoke chrome wheels
                    Aluminum trim on the interior
                    All white upholstery
                    White removable hard top

                    What have I left out?

Also, a last note. I never said I thought this car was "special." I'm the one that's still learning.

However, from what I've gathered, it's special enough to get the dander up on other T-Bird enthusiasts.

                    That I don't understand.

One would think Members would be "happy" for others? Regardless of which T-Bird they had.

No 2002-2005 Thunderbird came with 21" wheels, not even the "special" ones.

All of them came with aluminum trim on the interior, and many came with a white removable hardtop.

I don't think it is your 007 that gets our dander up, you might want to take a look in the mirror.

One does think ..... to much.

For that matter, ALL of us think to much.

That's why we are such a great group. Not only has the love of a car brought us together, but it has made us into a family. And I can actually say that I am closer to the people in this community than I am to my own blood family. But that's another story all of it own. lol

Seeing how you are 'new'. I am giving you the benifit of the doubt that you haven't read many of the past posts about car color. It's like one of those hit-you-in-the-ribs continuous family fueds. With each one of us victoriously sticking our tongue out at each other saying, neener-neener. Now remember, this is just car COLOR...wait till you see what happens when you compare BORLA'S to MAGNO FLOWS, or who has the coolest mod....whew...that's when people go running into the corners with bloody noses. lol

Like Queen Borla (borla babe) said...
                              let you hair down
                              un-button your collar
get your panties out of it's wad
                              relax and
                              just drive.

As far as happy....we are the happiest bunch of people out there.

                              Why?

Because we have THUNDERIBRDS, of various colors....

                                1. Special color - each year there were year specific colors
                                2. Limited Edition numbers - just like the PCR and cashmere
                                3. Special 21" spoke chrome wheels - I believe those would be 17" 21 spoke chrome wheels AKA the NM wheels.
                                4. Aluminum trim on the interior - All Thunderbirds have this
                                5. All white upholstery - ahhh, unique. BINGO
                                6. White removable hard top - Available on many whisper white, black, tourch red, Thunderbirdblue, and inca, Thunderbirds

You might want to take a look at a cashmere if you are looking for the Thunderbird with the most specific "stuff" such as unique color, interior specifc only to the cashmere, soft top color and boot only available to the cashmere, seats only available in the cashmere, unique grill, and etc. Case closed.

However, as it has been pointed out, today the cashmere is just another used car. You also might want to check out a PCR if unique stuff only available to a specific Tunderbird trips your trigger.

And at the end of the day, we love the 007 as we love all versions of the 02-05 Thunderbird.
