Thanks for the referral. I just got off the phone with Bill Jenkins, He saved me over 50 percent for the new wheel. I will never take bank drive-throughs for credit ever again. In fact, I might just use snail mail rather than try to navigate the narrow aisles! That is what I get for never driving the bird. Where are you from in Texas...Cindy Miles
I felt Bill Jenkins he would beat the price you got quoted & he is not loosing any money on the deal so you see how much stuff is marked up by some dealerships.

To answer your question, I live in Plano - about 20 miles north of Dallas.

Can't find 700 of the Bond cars. Does anyone know where they all are?
          No one has 700.

            Charles,

Like I've said before, you sure do have a way with words.

I do have to hand it to you for a couple of things. This thread has 80 posts which is pretty busy for 24 hours or so and you seem to get people to post that don't post often - some that have responded to this thread have less than 50 posts.

That being said, my Torch Red is one of the most common colors, because it and Evening Black are the only two colors that carry over all 4 years. BUT....while I like the Coral 007 birds I wouldn't trade my common Torch Red T-bird for one even if it is a limited edition. Now if it came with Halle Berry aboard then we might have to talk.

Then there is the X-factor of Torch Red - it continues to be the fastest color and represents the Retro Thunderbirds in more advertising and merchandise than any other color because deep inside everyone wants a sporty red car.

I remember "Tickle Pink" from the Boone Hills line of fine wine. We, me and the 5-7 other girls I usta pack into my fathers Ecoline back in the mid 70's, would go to 7/11 and take turns asking the men that went in to please buy us some Tickled Pink.
Gotta admit...we were tickled when they would come out with a bottle or two, or.....

To this day, I can still remember the sound the cap made as it would be unscrewed...ahhhhhh. cia bella

                    Paul,

You and I don't agree on much but our choice of colors is one thing I dont think we could disagree on! ;)

                    Oh yeah Torch Red Rocks!

(I love them all) So why is it that for such a rare care (007) is it that there are four in the Des Moines area that I see all the time? hmmmm... one does have to wonder
                    Got Ammo?

Re: They never heard of the 007 Thunderbird!

I can still remember seeing my 1st 007 back in 2003, my 1st PCR in '04 and a Cashmere at the dealership late in 2005. I never missed any retro Tbird - and I loved them all regardless of the color, but I knew these weren't colors I had ever seen before. I owe a lot to the Nest and to Dot's website for my Tbird education. Not everyone that owns a retro Bird has taken advantage of these benefits.

How does that work? The ignore list? I know how to do it, but don't know what happens once it's done. Do you just not see the posts that have been made the one you are ignoring?
