Becky, TBN sells TBN grille badges that many members have put on their Thunderbird grilles. They are not "stinkin Badges". Many, many members have them on their Birds. If I knew how to post a pic I would, so you'll have to wait to see one in person. Purchasing one is a way of supporting TBN.

ROFL ...Stan, I don't think TBNers are ever going to let us live that speeding ticket down. That experience of being locked in the back of a police car with Stan Walker cracking jokes and one of Arkansas' meanest cops in the front seat just looking for an excuse to take us both to jail, goes down as one of my most memorable TBird moments.

You got the prettiest combination with that white top, just like mine! There weren't that many sold new like that one in the DFW area - maybe about 5 or 6. Before we moved out to Rhome, one of them was only about 5 miles from us - maybe that's the one you got but I don't recall that he drove it that much to get that many miles on it.
Julie's right, it's probably time to replace your battery and Ford is the only place you're going to find the correct battery for the car. The car was too limited for other companies to make one to compete with Ford. It's needs the vented tube type because of where it's located in the car (the trunk)
Didn't I see you in the parking lot at Target last summer when I was in my blue bird and we later talked on the internet?
See my post. Ford dealer was closed yesterday so went to Sears and got their Diehard Gold 65 for $109. and yes its vented.
It took me 1/2 hour to replace as the cars was stranded in a parking lot.
The warranty is full for 36 months then prorated for the next 64.
Welcome to the Bird world. I know that you will enjoy that Blue Bird. Just watch the speed. I had my Bird for about a week and the battery went out. I checked all over for another one but got the best deal @ Ford. It is hard to find one with a vent off of the battery.

Welcome to the Nest! Becky you sure picked the right color combo. It is the fastest and nicest color for a T-Bird. I don't have the white top but sure would like to paint ours white as it is very attractive. Black looks sharp as long as the car in polished and clean. You will enjoy many miles of smiles.
