Very nice! If I ever have the time and/or resources to acquire/restore a vintage Bird again, a squarebird will be at the top of my list of candidates. Check out the ITC website if you haven't already. There are some photos of other squarebirds you might enjoy seeing.

I owned a '61,'62,'66 and a '69 back then. They were all great cars. Like everyone says, "should have kept them".

Thanks for sharing these pics Tom.
It really shows off that the Bird has been kept very well. It looks pristine. The color is special also. I don't think I have ever seen this color combo before. Very nice.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome, glad to be here! Our gold bird color is an original color option, it was called Beechwood beige metalic. If my Dad is reading today he can chime in about the color, I think it was a fairly rare choice as most ordered or wanted a red T-Bird. Attached is a picture of my 02 yellow Bird, bought it new and it has 11k miles, also one more picture of the 60 engine which is almost done!

No stripe, just a reflection of the florescent light above. The stripe would be cool though. Now my Dads black 04 bird has a very cool red stripe on the side, we put them on a few months ago when I was visiting them. See if I can find a picture to show, it looks great!

Two beautiful birds Tom. Your dad is lucky you have the interest and the 60 could stay in the family.
Mart, If I remember correctly, Tom Senior posted today that it is the original color, third repainting. Two done not so well, last one done right.

What a beautiful T-Bird. Looks like you just drove it off the showroom floor.
Our T-Bird club has our show and shine tomorrow here in Kelowna. Should be a great assortment of old and new birds. I hope to take lots of pictures. We get lots of fellow T-Birders from Washington, Oregon. Alberta and of course our province, British Columbia.
