  • Canadian Thunderbirds!

I don't know how many of you have been up this way but I live dead center of canada...anyhow..LOL I believe our gas is a little pricier than yours...and yeah it costs me now 90.00 roughly to fill the tank from mt.
I have lucked out...about 4 years ago...the car stopped running on the side of a back road...never good however a nice man on horseback offered to help (no we don't all live in igloos and drive dog sleds LOL) anyhow turns out the cats were completely plugged up...converted it to a 1 cat system from the stock 4...I recently discovered that here in Canada any car older than 1995 does not need a cat at all...so once I do the exhaust that cat will be outta here!!! better fuel economy and better for the car too IMO. Once all is done including plugs and wires...she will be race ready..I hope.
Just wondering if any of you have ever dragged you t-bird and if so what was your best times?

    Re: Canadian Thunderbirds!

Hi Juli, (My Story, condensed version)
We were in WINTERPEG August 07, visited a friend who had the first '02 T-bird sold in Winnipeg, it's for sale. 'Passsenger Seat' thinks we need another convertible, by Sept the Bird is ours now in Barrie, On.

So far this spring have not seen one other new Bird on the road around here, but then I have not been out that much in it and the LeBaron has not come out of hibernation yet, still waiting for some Top Down weather to arrive.

No one to drag with, can only go by stats. that they are 0 - 60 in 7 sec.

Summer is almost here, lets hear from some more Canadians.

We went to the track in Carlisle PA and race the birds. Best time for me was a 9.989 @71.19 mph on an 1/8 mile track. I was put out by a 9.972@72.12 mph
