Re: Hardtop Question
Hi John. Welcome to the nest!
Any 2002-2005 hard top should fit your car. You can pick just about any color and it will look good with your black car. You don't have to add any special equipment, just lower your soft top and set the hard top in place. There are two anchor points in the back that are visible when the soft top is down. The hard top has pins that fit down in the holes and then you lock them in with a lever that is part of the top. The front of the top bolts down to the top of the windshield. There is a black block on each side of the windshield that has a screw permanently retained in it. This is the same block that accepts the guide pin from your soft top when you raise it. All you need is the proper size wrench which usually comes with the top. It is just a tee-handle torx though if you need to buy one they are easy to find. If you get a top, you will also want to make sure to get a stand for it when it is not on the car and has wheels for moving the top around. The stand folds flat so that it can be transported in the trunk of your car. There is also a cover that came with tops from the factory to keep it dust free while stored on the stand.
What color is the interior of your car?~Jimmy
