    Re: Carolinas Chapter?

    Hi there,

We are in North Georgia but we often drive up into the mountains in Tennessee and the Carolinas and our son is just about to move to Charlotte so if you get any trips organized, I'll be watching for it.

    Thanks, Gordon.

Joe, there are at least five TBN members here in the Charleston/Summerville area and all like to get out and enjoy their Birds. Have no doubt there would be interest from this area.

          Joe,

Marsha and I would be interested in participating. The Carolinas have a lot of TBN Thunderbird enthusiasts and I hope you can get this flying.

I hope you folks can put a group together. We in New England do keep it informal but it does take an organized and tenacious organizer, such as Wes in our group, to put these events together. It is everyone else's responsibility to follow his lead and try to stay flexible in our thoughts, opinions and time. Otherwise it will be much more difficult.
I can honestly say we have all developed a genuine love for one another and have grown to become one large extended family. We always part with the anticipation of the next get together. With or without the birds.
Not that I would want to force any ideas upon you but If you like how we adapted the beautiful TBN badge to create our unique identity and would want one when your group is developed let me know and I will put one together for you. I created ours and would be happy to adapt one for your group when it is ready. All the people of TBN have done so much for me, many without even knowing, that I need to give back as much as and in any way possible.

Joe -- Will you take out of state folks in your group? If so, count me and the "Bubbette" in as your "red-headed" step children from Georgia.

In the spirit of informality . . . I vote anyone who wants in, IS IN.

OK, Folks. I am going to compile a list and we will go from there. If each of you will send me a e-mail address I can correspond as a group it will make my life much easier.

Thank you for all the input. I will put some ideas out there collected from here and we will see what happens.

Count Kay and I in but we are quite busy these days so I'm not sure how often we will be able to join the group.

                              Hi Folks:

Here is my preliminary list of folks who requested they be added to a membership list. If you're name is in red I still need a e-mail address for you so please p.m. me with one so I can send a group e-mail.

If your name has an asterick beside it then you responded to the thread but did not commit that I should place you on this list (or that was the way I read it and certainly could be wrong). If you are interested please let me know and, again, send me a e-mail address.
If I have overlooked anyone just hit me up and I will put you on the list.
