Bet that top from Galveston got wet. As I understand it the water was up to 10 ft on the STRAND. If the top is ok might look good on my Red 03. Or I could start a salvage lot of retro bird tops.
I spotted these two on Ebay today. Both are being offered from a guy in Michigan. Item # 250339871689 is a Mountain Shadow Grey top that's been gutted, no headliner, rear shelf, or molding and asking way too much. Item # 250339871928 is an original Neiman Marcus factory painted Satin Silver shell that is said to be in perfect condition. He's asking $1500.00 for it. I'm sure it's a very rare item and might sell? But even if you switched it with another shell you would still have to get the outside molding painted to match. Leroy
I can actually afford that one as it is... however it will go double the price or even more thus puts it out of my price range. At the rate I'm going it might take me a year to save up enough cash for one HT LOL!
I am going to watch the silver top. It would look good on a Merlot and since we don't have any tops, might be a nice addition. And where it is located, looks like a nice day trip in the Thunderbird to get it.
js tbird, I think that would look sharp. I've never seen that color combo. I have an 03 MSG on my 04 EB and I love it. I call it my NM clone. If you get it post a picture of it on a thread. Good Luck! Leroy
