That bird reminded me of a 57 pin striped back in the 50s and TOPPS made a card of it

Mods & customs continue to be made of the classics. Usually because the car is not worth restoring to original because of the condition the customizer got it in.

Looks to me like the exhausts are 1955 Caddy and the tail lights 1955 or 1956 Lincoln and the rear quarter panels maybe 57 Chevy. Pretty sure hub caps are 55 Olds Flippers and the front chrome bumpers are similar to a 1954 Mercury? This guy really worked hard to ruin a nice car. Leroy

Looking at the gal in the bathing suit the photo is dated.More than likely late 50's.Today they would have made about six suits out of the same amount of material

Here is yet another different TBird. I saw this one in Kelowna, BC Canada at the Okanagan Classic Thunderbird 2008 Show & Shine. The car belongs to a gentleman who lives in Walla Walla, Washington. He did much of the customizing himself, but I think he said a local upholstery shop did the interior work.
