Does anyone know of a source for production numbers by color for 04 Birds? The last edition I have found of Standard Catalog of Thunderbird has the numbers through 03 only.

Go here to this site. Everything you can think of to ask is covered on this web site. It belongs to one of our TBN members.

        Martin,
Thanks for the info - exactly what I was looking for. From the picture it looks like we have the same love for the old and new birds.

          Scott,

I want to take this opportunity to welcome another member to the 'nest... especialy one in Texas. We'll hopefully be having a dinner in the Dallas area sometime soon, and I hope you will be able to make it. Check the Texas Chapter Forum on occasion for updates.

              Mike,
Thanks for the info. What an awesome web site. I also have a 56 Bird, so I really enjoyed the portauthority site.

Welcome, Scott. You'll find a number of members here with both old and new. Now, question - which came first for you - the 56 or the 04?

My Green 56 was inherited from my father, who bought it new. I actually have a picture of my mother standing next to the car pregnant, with me, in 1958. When the retrobirds came out I knew I had to have one, and bought the Merlot 02 new in October of 2001.

That's a good way to get the 56. We weren't as forunate - had to purchase on our own in the 70s - of course the price was decent back then. Never could get my parents interested in buying a t-bird back in the 50s - they bought a wagon instead and I still have that - green, too.
