I'd say overpriced for today's market - 195K and it still hasn't met reserve?

We'll have to watch the Scottsdale auction and see what happens there.

Truely a RARE Bird, I would like to know the reserve. I wonder why they don't put it in the B-J auction? Leroy

Perhaps it's the big commision to B-J. I wonder if that's Amos Minter's shop.

It is the Amos Minter shop. Found the same image on their website

It even says $225K. That must be reserve price

That does look like the Minters' shop in the background.

If it's that good, he should take it to Barrett-Jackson. Of course there are high fees to get it in

Amos always has had 'birds at the Barret-Jackson auction - usually 3 and they usually get top, record bids. I think last January, though, his were down somewhat in price because of the slowing economy.

I follow very closely the Mecum Auctions, and annually attend the one they have here in FL (over in Kissimmee). Bid's are down this year. There is a lot of preasure on the seller's to remove their reserves, if the bidding starts to slow, or nears what the Auctioneer know's. When that is done, the bidding most of the time starts to get serious, but the collecrtor cars today, are not bringing what they should be able too. So, unless the seller really needs the $$$, the car's either go home, or on Mecums transport to the next venue.
