    They were actually both out on the road today. We had a very sunny but very cold day here. The bird heats up way faster than the Explorer.

      That doesn't look NEARLY as nice as the TBird blue with white top (does it Dot?).

        and you still didn't try a hardtop exchange!?! lol.

        Dennis Christenson just sent me a photo of their cashmere with an 02 blue hardtop on it. Sure looks good.

          Don, I think they look great either way. Would have been nice to get the blue interior in the white cars.

            TbirdTim hosted some T Bird top swap get togethers a long time ago,but the pictures are gone from the posts.

            Maybe he still has a photo of the combo you're looking for.

              Wes, that was one combo that they didn't try at their top swap event - I asked right after they had the exchange. Tbirdtim's photos are still on the web as he posted them to a photo hosting site. I have a link to it from my own link page - near the bottom of that page as it was one of the first sites to have a series of pictures of the new tbirds.

                Dot - I now have a photo of Joe's TB blue hardtop on Joel Jinnett's whisper white Bird (purchased from Joe a couple weeks ago). Met Joel at our TBN Tidewater chapter dinner tonight. HOWEVER...all photos are on my laptop, which completely failed tonight (I can't even get it to turn on). I'm communicating with my husband's laptop. I may be offline for awhile until I can figure out what to do (I am not a computer person). Wish me luck, and I'll see ya'll later!

                  Well, that's the pits, Elle. I know how frustrating that is. Hope it can be brought back to life. My main coputer was "gone" for almost two months when it wouldn't turn on. Turned out to be a virus I had downloaded (rather naively)

                    i have an extra thunderbird blue hood scoop if someone was interested in the color combo they could try on the scoop for a few days and see how it looks... pm me

                      Dot - finally! I can now access my photos again, so here is Joel Jinnett's whisper white with the TB blue top he purchased from Joe a few weeks ago! Joel purchased his Bird a few months ago, and it did not have a hardtop. He says he plans NEVER to take this one off!

                          That is quite a 'graphic' looking combo. Makes me wonder how a Teal colored top would look on a White Bird. Specially in combination with the emblems on front and back.
