Do I need to get a computer update for my 2005. It is 921 of 1500 Anniversary models.Bosco

My cashmere was built in Jan. of 05. I took it in in Feb of 08, just before the 36/36 was over, and had it checked. At that time there were not updates.

It should already have all the updates, as all of the later 2005 models built were updated (ECM & TCM) at the factory. Mine was built in May 2005, as as Lonestar states above, there were no updates available for mine either, as they were already done at the factory. You can check your VIN number for the build date to know for sure.

My 05 built Oct. 28, 2004. When in for service just before 36/36 expired back in 2007 was told back then that there were no updates.

If anyone knows that this is NOT correct please, please tell me.
