Kaminari Body Kit

I spoted this on Ebay this morning Item #370147923999. It's a body kit for a Mint Green 02 to 05 T-Bird. I did some searching on Google but couldn't find to much info on it and no pictures at all of a kit like this installed. Anyone ever see one of these on a car? The price is dirt cheap, but no bids yet. Located in Palm Coast, Fla. Leroy

Those look like the parts that might be available from Powersportcars.com - Phillip's site. They all look upside down n the photos.

It appears to be the only thing they specifically show for the Tbird.

Phil has had skirts, hood, side trim since 2003 or 2004.

and has added the above hard boot cover recently. Maybe he's buying that boot cover from Kaminari?

The kit is made by Kaminari for Powersport Co. It is not labeled by Kaminari. It is made by a different branch than the branch that makes their tonneau cover, but is supposed to still be made of hand laid fiberglass. I asked Brenda what was included in the kit. Got a reply that said that she knows nothing about body kits, all that she knows about this kit is what is on the auction. She bought the kit from a Ford dealer that was going out of business.

Maybe I am wrong but I don't think this tonneau will fit into the trunk. If that's the case you only put the kit on the car if you are not expecting to put the top down. Or if you are going to be close to home and you can make a run for it if it starts to rain. I know for sure the Gary Kimmel tonneu will fit in the trunk and can be used in the same was as the soft boot.

Big plus for me. I'm here in FL. $20. for a tank of gas, beats whatever shipping that crate would be.

On the tonneau. Yes this particular one, your stuck once on. Or of course at 82mph, the rain goes over the windshield, so it becomes a non issue.

and one other kinda off topic here, but mentioned abouve. Gary Kimmel's cover, are PERFECT for our Birds. Seen them in person, and his wife does a great job on the storage bags for them also.

Is this a tonneau cover? I thought it was a completly different front bumper section and grill from the head lights down with rocker panel covers and some other parts? I'm having a hard time picturing these parts on a T-Bird. Good Luck Dave I hope you'll send us a picture of what ever you do with this stuff. Leroy

Kaminari does make a tonneau cover for our Thunderbirds - it is a two piece cover and does fit in your trunk. I have never seen one, does anyone have a Kaminari tonneau cover?

No Tonneau shown in pics so not in this kit this is a ground effects kit, side rockers, front bumper, skirts, and stinger hood scoop!
